Most modern SUVs use All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) systems. Towing one of these vehicles by lifting only two wheels — the way you'd tow a normal car — can cause serious mechanical damage:

Underground parking — the height clearance question
Many of Malta's underground and multi-story car parks have height limits between 1.90m and 2.10m. A surprising number of SUVs are too tall to be lifted onto a standard flatbed inside these structures:
